I screwed up yesterday. Woohoo! - The Chief Happiness Officer Blog
I botched yesterday. Woohoo! - The Chief Happiness Officer Blog Recently I committed an enormous error that was both cumbersome, dumb and difficult. I had an extremely significant gathering with an enormous gathering of individuals from a customer and some way or another that gathering wasnt in my schedule. The gathering was at 1 oclock, which I discovered when one of them called me at 1:05 to ask where I was. Furthermore, this isn't just a major customer, this was the commencement meeting for that venture, and I neglected to go. I felt dreadful. In any case, at that point I recollected my own recommendation about commending botches. Everybody commits errors at work. But instead than conceal them and be embarassed, it is greatly improved to praise your errors with others. So let me reframe that: WOOHOO I overlooked a gathering. It is not necessarily the case that I mess with overlooking my responsibilities or that I intend to miss more gatherings. This is essentially to state that slip-ups are unavoidable the key thing is to gain from your errors, so you dont need to make similar ones again and again. Rather, you can proceed onward to commit greater and better errors. As Samuel Beckett put it: Ever attempted. Ever fizzled. Regardless. Attempt once more. Flop once more. Flop better. I have rescheduled the gatherings with the customer who took it pleasantly and I do plan to be there this time. I may in any event, carry cake to praise my error :- ) Got a mix-up youd like to celebrate? Offer it in the remarks. Much obliged for visiting my blog.
